Services Offered

The Partner Support Program provides assistance in the development of activist organizations and their projects, including start-up and follow-through assistance where needed. We work with Partners and other activists to organize their vision into action, and help to carry out their events.

WEB DESIGN & PROGRAMMING
Trees enables network organizations to maximize the benefits of a web presence – educating, organizing, engaging advocates and supporters, mobilizing on urgent issues, and fundraising – by providing accessibility to the internet through user-friendly website development and management.

Partner groups begin with an idea and a message and work with Trees to develop custom materials to achieve their outreach goals. Products range from flyers and brochures to newsletters, reports and event material.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Trees develops original outreach using, publications, radio ,the internet and events to highlight the work of partner organizations and the North Coast environmental issues they address.

  • Quarterly newsletter, Branching Out, highlights the work and issues of partner groups
  • Trees website hosts a page for each network group at www.treesfoundation.org
  • Trees Radio Hour broadcasts to a listening audience from Willits to Oregon and is streamed live on the internet
  • Tabling at special events
  • Annual report distributed to funders throughout the United States

SUPPORT & DEVELOPMENT
Trees assists groups in identifying and capitalizing on funding resources and maintaining organizational stability.

  • Fiscal sponsorship for groups without their own non-profit status

RESOURCE CENTER
Located in Garberville, the Resource Center provides activists with an office for self-directed projects. Trees program coordinators at the Resource Center offer input and assistance on partner projects when needed.
