The InterTribal Sinkyone Wildemess Council's executive director, Hawk Rosales, was the recipient of the prestigious California State Parks Dewitt Award for Partnership for 2008, presented at an awards ceremony in Sacramento on May 20. The award was presented to Mr. Rosales on behalf of the Sinkyone Council by Ruth Coleman, director of California State Parks.
